Set Application Wizard to check for updates automatically

Application Wizard can use your Internet connection (when available) to automatically check for new versions.

To automatically check for updates:

  1. Open the Application Wizard pane in System Preferences and make sure Application Wizard is turned on.

  2. Click the Software Update button.

  3. Select the ”Automatically check for updates” checkbox.

  4. Choose Daily, Weekly, or Monthly from the pop-up menu to schedule how often you want Application Wizard to check for new versions.

When Application Wizard detects that an update is available, you can choose to download or ignore it. To download the new version, click the Download button. To ignore it, select the ”Do not ask me again” checkbox and click the Cancel button.

To manually check for updates:

  1. Open the Application Wizard pane in System Preferences and make sure Application Wizard is turned on.

  2. Click the Software Update button.

  3. Click the Check Now button.
